Philadelphia will go 3-1 this upcoming week only losing to San Antonio. They’ve had a great 2017 so far, going 9-5 on the brink of ending their January with the same amount of wins they ended the 2016 season with. I expect them to continue “trusting the process” this week.
Oklahoma City will go 2-2 this upcoming week losing their first game of the week against the Spurs and then against the Trailblazers. The Spurs are coming off a two game losing streak for the first time since November. Also, the Spurs will be home where they are 20-5 this season and only have a total 13 regular season losses dating back to last season. The Trailblazers won their previous match up in December when they were struggling as a team and now they seem to be playing better since Damian Lillard was snubbed from the All-Star game again.
Minnesota Timberwolves will go 1-3, only winning against the Magic on January 30th. They will finish the week on a three game losing streak against the Cavs, Pistons, and Grizzlies. The Timberwolves have an abundance of young talent, lead by Karl Anthony-Towns and Andrew Wiggins. Yet, they have struggled all season long maintaining defensive discipline giving up too many easy buckets, especially when it counts. Statistically, they allow their opponents to rack up a 47% field goal percentage. That is tied for 3rd to last in the league this season.
